Coffee is health food: Myth or fact?

We read a lot about coffee on the internet these days, mostly relating to the fact that people love to spend large amounts of money in main stream coffee houses such as Costa Coffee and Starbucks.

My wife  loves Costa coffee, and probably spends hundreds of pounds a month on buying coffees from Costa coffee shops.
